DWmini 6 "Lessons from Animazement '09"

This is where people can talk about, love, or hate on the newest (or oldest) Divine Wrath mini strip. Sometimes Ill draw one that makes no sense to most if not all people. But thats okay. This is the safe, warm place where you can discuss and hopefully figure out what it all means.
Okay..

To people that arent familiar with conventions, some of this may be lost on you. For people that are familiar with comic conventions, this should be funny. Bottom line is, my wife bought a hat with cat ears and meme buttons (i.e. WTF, OMG, LOL) I on the other hand, bought nothing. She is way more anime then me.

Oh some people wondered why they were all dressed up weird. Its called "cosplay," look it up. Big thing to do at Comic conventions. Or LARP events. Dont know what that is either, well look it up. Anyway the characters I tried to portray people dressed up as (and which I saw alot of) are from left to right, some person from Naruto, some guy from Dragonball, some character from Kingdom Hearts (game), I have no idea, that guy with the sword from Bleach, and my wife. With hats.

I love descriptions!

Yeah, just think. In one year we'll be at Comic Con and there will be even more cosplayers running around. I wonder if I can find someone to carve "Cosplayer Appreciation Tool" into a Louisville Slugger for me?

Oh LARP! I will never forget the day I was coming home from a group project meeting on campus, feeling stressed and overwhelmed as I have all year in my Master's program, when I saw a 15 vs 15 LARP battle going on in the middle of a grassy field in front of the UB student union. For Joy! I wanted to run into the middle of the battle and choose the losing side, completely change the outcome, but figured I wasn't dressed up, and would be actually harming people...so I might not have been welcome.
