Anyhow, this strip is actually the reason why I wanted to make a Discuss the Strip section, because, well, some people might take offense to geese being blown up. Without a good reason. This strip shows several things.
1. Im not a fan of geese. They are all over my apartment complex, shitting everywhere, and honking, and just being a royal pain. When I walk Max, and prevent him from eating their dysentery inducing poo (gross I know) I always imagine how awesome it would be to blow them up with my mind. Lil' bastards.
2. Deemos is learning what he can do. It hasnt been talked about much because we have yet to get into any kind of story arc yet. But Deemos is a demon, and has a few tricks up his sleeve. But also since he is a RELIQUARY, he has no idea what he can and cant do, and whether or not he can control it. (ohhhhh foreshadowing!) Thus the surprised look in the last panel.
3. Im a dick. I didnt know until last night while I was finishing this stip that it was Archer's birthday. I was trying to come up with something for the strip the past two days, when I could have been a good friend and did a tribute-birthday strip for him. sigh... Sorry about that bro. Next time, eh?
So in summary, Deemos has powers, but doesnt know what they are, Geese and R3v are dicks, and things blowing up is awesome.
