So finally it is up, and again Im still not happy with things. Mostly the fact that my nemesis seems to be backgrounds. I hate them I truly do. But... Next page, Ill try to work on that. I can only get better. I hope.

Anyhow, enough self debasing (sounds like a step in cooking turkeys) This page shows, well, it shows the same experience many, who have played the Halo franchise, have witnessed first hand.
Johnny has his brand new XBOX 360 elite, he now has a buddy who will play with him. Said buddy however has spent the entirety of his life in servitude and in a place that may or may not have High Speed Internet access.
So of course Deemos (D33mo5) is quite the noob in the Halo world and has committed the sin of killing his own teammate. Thus earning him the title of TKFT*

Yes, I agree thatBG's don't seem to be your best attributing factor to your webcomic, but atleast your not using slightly-edited/blurred photographs.
You do it all from scrath, and I greatly respect you for doing so <3

Also, I lol'd at how the Halo graphics had more dimension, volume and colouring than the last two "Real life" panels xD

And I DO love the change-up in styles between game and real. It's quite striking.

I really dig this page. I like the difference in art styles, and love H3 so I'm completely sold on this. In the one-panel look at Johnny's eyes, there is a depth of silent frustration that resonates with me as a XBL player who's seen my fair share of incompetent teammates. Nice. Backgrounds aren't exactly spectacular, but with the level of foreground greatness, it still blows many webcomics out of the water.

During development of this page, R3v was rolling the idea around of making D33mo5 an idiot savant at Halo 3 or making it more realistic and having him n00b it up. I think that the choice worked out for the better here.

Well, my gamertag is r3v3rend. Other then the obviously made up parts of the comic, I pretty much use things, names, and places from my real life within the story. Thanks for the props on the artwork. Ive said it before but Ill say it here again, I do plan on altering my art style now and again during the run of this comic. I feel that not only will this comic be a fun outlet for JJ's and my creative imagination, but it will also act as an online portfolio.
There will be a day when I will decide that I am fed up with the military and its constant juggling of my time and patience, and want to pursue a career elsewhere. Hopefully somewhere in a studio assisting in the development of awesome videogames.
Or I could just end up traveling the country from Con to Con selling my wares like a peddling nomad of Arabian descent. (is that racist?)
Anyhow, Im glad you are all enjoying the comic, and I thank you for your patience during the times when it takes me a little longer to produce something for you all to see.
