Originally I was playing with the idea of creating a stylized version of his Ninja, but thought it would pay better homage, if I stuck a little closer to the original artwork.

I just realized that I accidentally colored the NHBG ninjas hands in the last two panels when Id already left his hands unmasked in the previous two. Oops.
Wheres that damn Blooper Reel!
Ill fix that when I get home.

I was coming here to be the first to expose the front-page referenced anomoly on here, and then you go and blow up the surprise by making it easy to assume I just read your post and didn't actually figure it out. I was going to say, ahem:

The ninja took off his gloves halfway through the strip, it's not a mistake, just a very ninja thing to do. He might not be able to disappear very convincingly, but his wardrobe changes are flawless victories every time.

R3v Phoenix...is that like a dark Harvey Birdman?

It was in response to one of Blue's posts, where he started quoting a DS game, whose title I have already forgotten. The main character was something Phoenix and he was a lawyer, whose actions in court created over exuberant and dramatic "word" effects, like, "OBJECTION!"

But an evil Harvey Birdman would rock hard.
